Japanese katsu curry

I made the katsu with chicken and it was so delicious! The Japanese curry just hits different… its so hearty, warm in flavors, mild and so creamy! The vegetables are so soft and the chicken pairs really well with the curry sauce.

Ingredients

egg

2 tsp curry powder

garlic paste

panko breadcrumb

carrots

1 tbsp soy sauce

pepper

25g of butter

1 onion

2 tbsp flour

chicken breast

salt

2 cup water

potatoe

1 chicken stock

1 tsp garlic paste

1 apple grated

Instructions

Step 1

Chop onion, grate apple and mix. add chopped onion to a pan with butter and wait until brown. then add ginger paste, garlic paste, apple, curry powder, flour, water and chicken stock. salt and pepper to taste. blend and let it cook away.

Step 2

Add potatoes and carrots to your sauce with 1 tbsp soy sayce and let cook on low. 1 hr till it get thickened and the veggies are tender

Step 3

Season your chicken breast now with salt, pepper. prepare flour, egg and panko in three separate bowls.

Step 4

Dip your chicken in flour, then the egg and then the panko making sure everything is covered.

Step 5

Fry your chicken breasts until its golden brown.

Step 6

Chop your chicken and plate with rice and sauce. enjoy!
