I am addicted to goyzas. Dumplings and dim sums!!! I feel that gyozas are the easiest to make. I find the whole process quite therapeutic and fun especially with music on!! Then the greatest reward when served and eaten hot 😋

Ingredients

chinese cabbage

salt

2 cups flour

ginger

1 cup water

spring onion

mince chicken

soy sauce

pepper

msg optional

Instructions

Step 1

Add boiled water to flour, mix, then knead for 2-4 minutes and rest the dough while covered for 10-15 minutes, combine all ingredients of the filling and mix.

Step 2

Cut and roll the dough into small circles and add the filling. seal the gyozas using your thumbs and index fingers. add to a cold frying pan with a bit of oil. turn the heat on high for 3-4 minutes then add water and cover for 5 minutes.

Step 3

I served it with chili oil that i made earlier for a noodles recipe and soy sauce.
