Invented in Japan, these chocolates come in all sorts of flavours, my favourite renditions being dark chocolate, chocolate-strawberry and matcha! They’re so delicate that they have to be served practically frozen, and can melt before your eyes if you leave them out in a hot room. But ironically, these icy chocolates are perfect for summer
Ingredients
65g double cream
14g melted unsalted butter
180g white chocolate
9g matcha powder
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the double cream in the microwave until hot to touch
Step 2
Melt the white chocolate in the cream
Step 3
Whisk in the melted butter and seive in the matcha powder
Step 4
Line a container with baking sheets, and pour in the mixture
Step 5
Freeze overnight before serving
