After making cheese tarts w egg yolks, you’re basically legally compelled to use up your egg whites with these milk tarts Made with condensed milk, heavy cream, and whole milk, this is a milky force to be reckoned with. They’re light, almost milk-pudding like, and a lovely refresher after the creamy cheese tarts! If you’ve ever had milk pudding, then this is basically milk pudding with a caramelised chewy top incased in a crunchy buttery shell. You can have these fresh out of the oven, or cold!

Ingredients

1/2 tsp plain all purpose flour

1 tbsp condensed milk

80g whole milk

1/2 tsp corn flour

15g sugar

50g double cream

splash of vanilla

1 egg white

Instructions

Step 1

Heat up the cream, condensed milk and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. turn off the heat.

Step 2

Whisk in the milk and vanilla

Step 3

Whisk in the egg white

Step 4

Sift in the flours and mix until combined

Step 5

Sieve the mixture, and pour into tart shells

Step 6

Bake at 180c for 20 minutes
