Everything you like about churros, in a bite. These small flavour bombs are cinnamon-y and crunchy on the outside, and puffy on the inside. And the best part? You can dip the full thing in chocolate sauce.

Ingredients

50g sugar

1 egg

70g water

45g unsalted butter

5g cinnamon powder

55g plain flour

15g sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the butter, sugar and water.

Step 2

Once it starts boiling, remove from heat and mix in the flour.

Step 3

Put back on low heat, and cook for a minute or two until the dough is well combined and less wet

Step 4

Let the dough rest until mildly warm, beat in the egg.

Step 5

Pipe out the dough into circles (feel free to make them larger or smaller)

Step 6

Freeze the dough until hardened

Step 7

Heat oil in a pot to 190c, and fry the cookies batch by batch

Step 8

Cool until they are crispy and dry, before coating them in the cinnamon sugar
