Comforting, fast & easy (the hardest part is making that onsen egg, but you can just use an egg yolk)

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup dashi

• 1tbsp sugar

• 3tbsp soy sauce

• 2tbsp mirin

• 2tbsp sake

Instructions

Step 1

- pour the sauce into a pan, then add chopped onion, then layer beef slices on top so that it covers the onions

Step 2

- cover an cook on medium heat

Step 3

- add green onions, cover and cook for another minute

Step 4

- serve with a hot bowl of rice, an onsen egg, and red pickled ginger (beni shoga) - which i dont have btw :)
