mediumThis is one of my favorite Vietnamese food. It’s refreshing, bright and satisfying. Traditionally it’s charcoal grilled but i used the air fryer for this one
Ingredients
1tsp sugar
2tsp soy sauce
1/4tsp ground black pepper
2tsp minced shallot
4tsp vegetable oil
1tsp minced lemongrass
275g pork shoulder/ pork collar
2tsp oyster sauce
2tsp honey
1/3 tsp chinese fivespice powder
1tsp minced garlic
Instructions
Step 1
- cut the pork into thin strips and combine ingredients to marinate. let sit for at least 30 mins
Step 2
- meanwhile, soak the skewers into water so that they won’t burn while grilling
Step 3
- after 30 mins, place the pork onto the skewers and grill in the air fryer at 180•c for 10 mins, then flip, and continue to grill for 5-7 mins at 190•c, or until the meat is beautifully golden brown
Step 4
- serve with rice noodles, veggies, pickled carrots and daikon, crushed peanuts and fish sauce
