easyGrowing up I could never decide on my favorite flavor of chip. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been introduced to more flavors and seasonings and I still can’t decide. So, I’ve decided to season these sweet potato chips 4 different ways.
Ingredients
cinnamon & a pinch of salt
seasonings
1 large sweet potato
a bit of avocado oil i used a spray and did a few spritzes for each bach
curry blend coriander turmeric mustard
paprika salt garlic powder
salt and pepper
Instructions
Step 1
-using a mandolin, or finely with a knife, cut your washed, large sweet potato into thin slices
Step 2
-preheat your air fryer to 350f. (*if you don’t have an airfryer you can place them in the oven at 355f for 15-20 min flipping 10 minutes in*)
Step 3
-in a bowl, spray/drizzle a small amount of avocado oil on the sweet potato thins. if you would like to make multiple seasonings, divide your thins into various bowls
Step 4
-apply your seasoning(s) of choice then mix to ensure all chips have some seasoning
Step 5
-put the chips in thin layer (not on top of each other) in your air fryer to ensure for even cooking. (you will likely need to do more than 1 batch in the air fryer)
Step 6
-put them in for 10-12 minutes and 1/2 way through, flip the chips so they cook on both sides.
Step 7
-let them cool for 5 minutes to allow them to further crisp then enjoy!
Step 8
-storage: you can store these in an airtight container for up to 4 days
