Spicy sausage pasta bake

Easy vibrant Spicy Sausage Bake

Ingredients

4 handfuls of spinach

40g of parmesan

4 tablespoons of tomato paste

2 garlic cloves

4 table spoons of creme friache

2 table spoons of gochujang

150g pasta

4 skinless sausages

1 red onion

handful of cherry tomatoes

2 chillis

ball of mozzarella

2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Start by dicing your onions, removing the skins from your sausages, halving tomatoes and dicing the chilli

Step 2

Fry off the sausage, breaking them up into little pieces as they cook, once they have started to brown add in the tomatoes, onions, chilli and garlic and leave until the tomatoes start to soften.

Step 3

Add in your spinach to wilt

Step 4

Set your pasta to boil

Step 5

Once the spinach has wilted add in the tomato paste and gochujang and stir in. add in the creme friache and stir in the cayenne pepper and parmesan.

Step 6

Add in some pasta water if the sauce is too thick and leave to simmer

Step 7

Drain pasta and add to the pan and stir.

Step 8

Tear up your mozzarella and scatter across the pasta

Step 9

Chop up some fresh basil and sprinkle, pop into the grill to melt the mozzarella (about 10 minutes)
