ladies and gentlemen the snack that has been holding the weight of my current chocolate peanut butter addiction on its back… coconut peanut butter cup dessert bars. they’re only five ingredients, no bake, and are the perfect healthy(ish) dessert.

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 tbsp coconut butter or oil

1/2 peanut butter

1/3 cup lite maple syrup

coconut flakes optional

1/2 cup chocolate chips

sea salt optional

Instructions

Step 1

Whisk together the peanut butter and maple syrup until well mixed. add in the rolled oats until everything is combined. evenly spread the mixture onto parchment paper to create the base.

Step 2

Next melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in the microwave until melted, and cover the base with the chocolate mixture. sprinkle coconut flakes and sea salt on top and let it sit in the fridge for an hour before eating. enjoy!
