Chocolate Walnut Banana Bread

Ripe bananas on the counter means it’s time for some banana bread and this chocolate walnut version will satisfy all your chocolate cravings

Ingredients

1/4 tsp salt

2 ripe bananas about 1 cup mashed

1 cup all purpose gf or regular flour i used gluten free flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/3 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup maple syrup

2 eggs

1/3 cup coconut oil

optional dark chocolate chunks mixed in or on top

1 cup almond flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

Step 1

Mash the bananas and mix them with the rest of the wet ingredients then add in the dry ingredients minus the walnuts and chocolate.

Step 2

Stir to combine it well until there are no more pockets of flour and then fold in the walnuts (you can also add the chocolate inside instead of on top if you prefer).

Step 3

Transfer to a lined loaf pan then bake at 350° for about 45 minutes until a tooth pick comes out clean.

Step 4

Let cool then slice and enjoy
