Spicy Basil Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

1 garlic clove

1/4 cup water

a couple of slices of jalapeño remove seeds for less spice

2 tbsp olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

handful of fresh basil

1/4 cup tahini

juice from half a lemon

Instructions

Step 1

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2

You may need to add more water if your tahini is on the thicker side in order to reach your desired consistency.

Step 3

Pour the sauce into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Step 4

The sauce will thicken after sitting in the fridge so simply add a tablespoon or two of water and shake to thin it out if needed. enjoy
