From Sicily to your kitchen, this pistachio pesto is a quick and fresh recipe for your summer nights.

Ingredients

olive oil 22.5ml per person

pepper

water 22.5ml per person

fresh basil leaves 10 per person

lemon zest grated 1 lemon for 3 people

grated parmigiano reggiano cheese 30g per person

shelled pistachios 60g per person

your favorite pasta i recommend linguine

salt

Instructions

Step 1

Cook pasta in abundant boiling salted water for the time indicated on the pasta box.

Step 2

In a blender or food processor combine all the ingredients for the pesto, blending until you have a smooth and creamy sauce.

Step 3

When pasta is cooked, drain and place in a bowl. pour sauce on top and stir to combine.

Step 4

Enjoy with some extra olive oil.
