Spinach Pea Pasta

This absolutely decadent pasta is inspired by spinach dip. It is a delicious blend of spinach, pea and cream cheese. You can get in your green veggies and enjoy a hearty, saucy pasta at the same time.

Ingredients

squeeze of lemon juice optional

1 tsp olive oil

1/4 cup 60g cream cheese

2 tbsp 15g mozarella shredded

2 cups 60g spinach

1/4 cup 35g green peas

3 hyphen 4 cloves of garlic minced

salt pepper dried thyme and chilli flakes

90g pasta

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the pasta, along with the peas, until al denté. save a cup of pasta water.

Step 2

Add the olive oil to your heated pan, then add the garlic and sauté a bit.

Step 3

Add the spinach and sauté until it’s a bit cooked.

Step 4

Add in all the spices.

Step 5

Then add the cream cheese as well as a bit of pasta wayer and stir until a smooth sauce forms.

Step 6

Finally add in the boiled pasta and peas, sprinkle the mozzarella and mix thoroughly to combine.

Step 7

Serve with additional chilli flakes and enjoy hot!
