easyChristmas is slowly approaching and yesterday I baked Christmas cookies for the first time this year. These coconut macaroons only require a few ingredients and taste very delicious. Maybe you even have everything you need at home?😉 Today I plan to bake cinnamon stars and angel eyes. What kind of cookies have you baked yet?
Ingredients
3 egg whites
100g dark chocolate
150g sugar
zest of half a lemon
175g desiccated coconut
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
Step 2
Add the sugar and stir again.
Step 3
Then fold in the coconut flakes and lemon zest.
Step 4
Pour the coconut mixture into a piping bag (if you don't have one, you can use 2 teaspoons) and form small “clouds” on the baking paper.
Step 5
Bake the coconut macaroons for 20 minutes at 160 degrees top/bottom heat. let cool and decorate with chocolate.
