Ingredients

1 tablespoon chopped cilantro leaves
1/2 cup boiled potatoes
1/2 cup plain kefir
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
red chili powder to taste
salt to taste
Instructions
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, cumin powder, and red chili powder.
Step 2
Add the mashed potatoes, pumpkin puree and kefir to the dry ingredients and knead it into a smooth dough. you might need a little water if the dough is too dry, or a bit more flour if it’s too sticky.
Step 3
Cover the dough and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Take 1/4 dough and roll it out thin and cut in rounds or desired shape.
Step 6
Once the oil is hot, carefully slide it into the oil. it should puff up quickly.
Step 7
Fry it until it turns golden brown on both sides, then remove it from the oil and place it on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Step 8
Serve these hot with kefir cilantro chutney.
