Indulge in homemade Salted Caramel Protein Bars, a perfect blend of health and taste. For the base, blend 3/4 cup oat flour, 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder, 4 tbsp vegetable oil, and 2 tsp honey until you achieve a moist cookie dough texture. Press into a lined tray. For the caramel, blend 1 cup pitted dates, 3 tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp salt, and 2-3 tbsp hot water. Spread the caramel over the base and freeze. Coat the set bars in melted dark chocolate mixed with a little oil for a smooth finish. Freeze again until firm. Enjoy this delightful snack!

Ingredients

1/4 cup protein powder

3 tbsp hot water

3 tbsp honey

1 cup pitted dates

2 tsp honey

4 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 cup oat flour

Instructions

Step 1

Mix together (3/4 cup oat float, protein powder, vegetable oil and honey) until you have a moist cookie dough texture. if it seems too dry, add more oil. press into a lined tray and set aside.

Step 2

For the caramel blend together: pitted dates, honey, salt and hot water

Step 3

Add your caramel mixture to your cookie dough base and freeze until completely set.

Step 4

Melt 10 squares of dark chocolate and add a little oil for a thinner consistency. cut into equal bars and coat in the dark chocolate. once coated, freeze again until firm.
